I hope to make something beautiful.

Something as beautiful as paintings. Paintings that take your breath away. Drawings that pull you into wonderful worlds, with all their dazzling colors. Illustrations that portray the vision of an artist, of the universe through their eyes.

Something as beautiful as music. Melodies that sway the heart. Rhythm that calls to action and harmony that touches the soul. Lyrics that compose meaning to the voice of an artist, of the universe felt through their song.

Yet all I have are these words. Plain text on a blank canvas. They cannot speak to you as songs do, nor can they illustrate a vision to you as paintings do.

All I have are these words. From my mind to yours. And as you speak them, I hope they ring with the beauty of your voice. And as you think of them, I hope they paint a picture with the beauty of your mind. 

I hope that you read these words, my song told through your voice, my vision seen through your eyes.
